Troubleshooting
Problem
When you lot submit a double-decker or run an exposed service you might see the error message: "You have been automatically logged out for security reasons. Unfortunately, because of this we are unable to save your information at this time. Please run this chore over again to save your data." or "BPM has been unable to retrieve data from your web session. Information technology may have expired."
Cause
In that location are several reasons why this mistake is thrown by IBM Business Process Manager. This document provides a list of all of the possible reasons and resolutions.
The possible causes of the fault are:
- You are using a process application that was imported from WebSphere Lombardi Edition V7.x and information technology contains the quondam system toolkit dependencies.
- The CoachDesigner.xsl file, coach_designer.css file, or both files in your process awarding are not the stock files.
- The problem occurs when a user is working on a Heritage Coach and and so clicks a push button that triggers a boundary event. A transition to the next Heritage Coach then occurs and, in some cases, you can meet the same error bulletin instead of a next coach.
- You endeavor to run the same job and submit the aforementioned coach from several browser windows.
- You might accept a full general Java™Script syntax fault in your coach in a custom HTML block.
- You have changed the URLs in IBM Business concern Procedure Manager configuration files after adding a front-end web server.
- Yous have configured IBM Business organisation Procedure Manager to work with your Load Balancer.
- The IBM Business Process Director server is not in the list of trusted sites for Microsoft Internet Explorer

Resolving The Trouble
The following information provides a resolution for each of the previously listed causes:
Causes 1 and ii
To resolve these issues, complete the following steps:
- Upgrade the System Data Toolkit (TWSYS) to the latest version.
- Modify the coach_designer.xsl or coach_designer.css files.
If you lot are modifying the stock versions of either the coach_designer.xsl or coach_designer.css file, make certain that you do not introduce any syntax errors. Otherwise, these syntax errors might lead to the same error. If you are upgrading from a previous version of the production to the latest version and you used a custom version of the coach_designer.xsl, coach_designer.css, or both files, yous need to re-write them based on the latest stock versions of these files. Use the stock version from the current System Data toolkit as a base of operations. Because most likely newer versions of the Product contain important changes/fixes in those files and so, if you use your old customized versions information technology might lead to the same fault. - In the process application settings, verify that the coach_designer.css and coach_designer.xsl files are using the current TWSYS version. If a base of operations stock file was modified, utilise the new TWSYS version and suspend the custom modifications. Run across the following screen shots for reference in the procedure application settings screen:
Crusade 3
Using the WebSphere administrative panel, add the
com.ibm.wsspi.security.web.webAuthReqproperty to the Coffee virtual machine settings with value set up to "persisting". For more information, see the Web hallmark settings document in the WebSphere Application Server Data Center.
Cause iv
Apply the beginning Coach submission as the case does not fail. Subsequent submissions of the aforementioned task results in the failure message.
Cause five
Review the code in your custom HTML and debug it using Firebug in Mozilla Firefox or programmer tools in Google Chrome. Information technology is possible for the JavaScript, which is referenced in a custom HTML block (either local or from a managed nugget), to have a runtime fault. This error might cause the coach to fail and event in the log out result for security reasons.
Cause six and 7
For troubleshooting and resolution steps for this cause, see the "You have been automatically logged out for security reasons" occurs after changing URL prefixes in IBM Concern Process Director (BPM) configuration files document.
